Verify and Export a Transparent PNG in ConnexaX: Step-by-Step

Use this workflow after background removal when the transparent PNG will become a reusable design asset. The key step is verifying the alpha edge before you treat the file as finished.

Step-by-step workflow

    Create the cutout

    Run the Background Remover on the clearest source image available.

    Confirm the checkerboard area

    Make sure the empty region is truly transparent rather than filled with white pixels.

    Inspect the subject boundary

    Look for missing hair, jagged corners, leftover background fragments and colored halos.

    Preview against a light background

    Light backgrounds can reveal dark edge contamination or missing semi-transparent pixels.

    Preview against a dark background

    Dark backgrounds can reveal pale halos that were invisible on white.

    Download as PNG

    Use PNG so the alpha transparency remains part of the exported file.

    Keep the transparent master

    Create white, colored or photographic background versions from the verified transparent master instead of overwriting it.

Transparency is not white

A transparent pixel has alpha transparency; a white-background image contains actual white pixels. Test the PNG over more than one background color to confirm what was exported.
