How to use Smart Resizer: 10 clear steps

Follow these steps, then verify any platform-specific size, format or policy requirement before final submission.

  1. 1

Upload the highest-quality source image available so resizing starts from a clean original.

  2. 2

Choose a platform preset when possible, or enter custom width and height values for a specific requirement.

  3. 3

Check the target aspect ratio before processing because a different ratio can crop or add empty space.

  4. 4

Use Fit when you want to keep the full image visible inside the requested dimensions.

  5. 5

Use Fill or Crop when edge-to-edge framing is more important than preserving every part of the source image.

  6. 6

Reposition the image after cropping so faces, text and important objects stay inside the safe area.

  7. 7

Choose a suitable background color only when the selected fitting mode creates unused space.

  8. 8

Confirm the final width and height in pixels before exporting for social media, forms or thumbnails.

  9. 9

Preview the result at normal size and check that text, logos and faces still look sharp.

  10. 10

Download the final file and test it on the destination platform before deleting your original image.
