BackgroundRemover
How to use Background Remover: 10 clear steps
Follow these steps, then verify any platform-specific size, format or policy requirement before final submission.
- 1
Choose a sharp image where the main subject is clearly separated from the background whenever possible.
- 2
Upload the file and allow the browser model time to initialize; the first run can take longer than later runs.
- 3
Start background removal and keep the tab open until processing finishes completely.
- 4
Inspect difficult edges such as hair, transparent objects, fine fabric and shadows before accepting the result.
- 5
Use the transparency preview to confirm that the removed area is actually transparent rather than painted white.
- 6
If the cutout is weak, try a higher-quality source image with stronger contrast between subject and background.
- 7
Download as PNG when you need real transparency for thumbnails, product graphics or design work.
- 8
Do not use an edited background for identity documents unless the relevant authority explicitly permits it.
- 9
Large photos may use more memory and take longer on low-powered phones, so close unnecessary tabs if processing stalls.
- 10
Review the downloaded PNG at full size before publishing to make sure important subject edges were not removed.
