Background Removal Workflow for Product and Creator Images

A good cutout starts with a good source image. Busy backgrounds, motion blur, glass, hair and low contrast can all make automatic separation harder.

Step-by-step workflow

    Pick a usable photo

    Choose an image where the subject is visible and reasonably separated from the background.

    Run the remover

    Upload the file and wait for the segmentation step to finish.

    Inspect difficult areas

    Zoom in around hair, transparent objects, fingers, clothing and shadows.

    Decide the final background

    Keep transparency for design reuse or place the subject on a background appropriate to the destination.

    Export the result

    Use PNG when you need alpha transparency.
